Emma Lightfoot

After graduating with a First Class history degree (Cambridge) I studied 16mm filmmaking at the London Film Academy, worked as a script editor across three series of Stephen Fry's ITV drama, Kingdom, and took on the role of Head of Development for Parallel Films.

In 2009 I moved into advertising as a freelance copywriter, and became Head of Copy for R/GA London 2014-2017.

Alongside my work as a writer I have been in training as a psychoanalytical psychotherapist with the IGA since 2011 [groupanalysis.org].

I now specialise in narrative, interactive and storytelling briefs, spend Wednesdays in clinical work in the NHS, and on Thursdays facilitate a Process Group for the MA in Drama Therapy at Central School of Speech and Drama.
